You no longer see the value in sunnah prayers, you do not see the value in tahajjud, because the dunya has distracted you. You do not experience those emotions when listening to the verses, when a tremor ran through your body to the very tips of your fingers. You have become completely different! Your nights began to pass in social networks, and not in worship. Your tongue began to remember others, instead of Allah. Your thoughts are occupied with worldly things, money, and not religion. You are no longer in search of knowledge, you are in search of money, temptations, you gradually fall into fitna. You gradually forget Allah. You forget why you lived. You forget about death. And so the heart gradually hardens, deceived by this world. And we become those about whom Allah said: “They forgot Allah and He forgot them.” [Quran: 59:19]
