In central Ok it’s around the end of the 1st week and 2nd week of November every year. Yes the bucks will chase a few weeks before and after but the does aren’t receptive until that timeframe.

They will just bed down wind of the doe then move when they do. Most likely at dark when it's cooler but when she is ready they can move at any time.
