I am hypoglycemic and united health care won’t pay for my Dexcom because I’m not on insulin! My sugar dropped to 30 and I almost died. 🤷🏻♀️

My husband died of cancer in October. United Healthcare denied his hospice care three days before his end because the hospice care didn’t have to change his pain meds! $3,000 out of my pocket!!! 😡

Sorry it was deemed medically unnecessary for me to give thoughts and prayers. Has he thought about just drinking more water and exercising more? Maybe losing some weight? Might make him feel better

I fell. I had a rare break in my foot. UHC denied my need for surgery even though it was the only way to fix he break. 6 months later had surgery due to infection. Had amputation now disabled

There is a larger problem yes, but I wouldn't say it didn't help anything. Anthem backed out of their previous anesthesia policy the planned to implement. So that was a win. But it's not enough.

currently being sued by a hospital bc I couldn't afford health insurance at the time. luckily it's not a large amount but it discourages me from going to the doc even tho I have insurance now.
