Kinda weird to see that when a gaming company is too comfortable in their position, like Nintendo durning the Wii era, they won’t take any risk… the Wii U failure was a blessing in disguise.

Expanding into new ventures is something Nintendo has done before, but it has been a while. They were basically just a toy and card game company before going into gaming.

Been a personal theory of mine. Nintendo knowingly threw wiiu under the bus because Switch was too expensive for 2013. Iwata wanted Switch earlier.
