my in laws are involved so much my daughter things those are her only grandparents. my parents aren’t involved bc they think i need to bring my kids to them for there to be a bond🫤

My in laws are awful people. They claim to always say they want to be involved in our kids lives but make zero effort. Meanwhile they would do ANYTHING for their other grandkid.

My dad passed before we got pregnant with our first. It makes me so sad knowing how much of a great relationship they’d have. But my MIL chooses not to see my son, or my own mother. It’s heartbreaking

Oof,struggle with this. One set isn’t involved & the other set lives across the country. When I’m out & see grandparents with grandkids I can’t help but stop & envy their relationships / involvement

My parents live hundreds of miles away and my in laws who live an hour + away don’t bother coming to visit. My husband works hard so I can stay home & I never get a day off. No village is tough 🥲

Same my sil said at least you’ll only deal with it for 18y or it could die first when we told them I was pregnant I crashed out and they stood up for HER and yelled at me!!!
