At some point I want to read only middle grade fiction for a full year to catch up on all the amazing books I missed as a kid because I was "too smart for children's books" back when I was the age to read them 😂

My recommendation is 100% The Enchanted Forest Chronicles (the first book is Dealing with Dragons). I also love The View from Saturday and classics -- The Giver, From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E Frankweiler, Holes, etc.

I have post concussion syndrome and I have to read books that would be considered way under my level, but it is a must for me, with short chapters, larger print font, focus, concentration, attention span, so learning to be not so hard on myself and take the win of reading as it is so good for your brain/mind/health
