the economic crisis is entirely manufactured. we have more than sufficient wealth and resources to have a healthy economy for all levels. The "crisis" comes from the super rich consuming everything.

The arts (especially music) also further education and is known to help with behavior and critical thinking in other subjects. Using Covid as an example in times of crisis there are behavioral issues that follow particularly in schools and the arts can really help these children

more superficially, the arts are also incredibly economically productive. They have been proven to consistently boost the economy and bring in revenue. British TV shows are continually franchised globally, if you need a crude example of how the arts can turn a profit.

I have a cooler more epic idea: instead of funding the arts and still remaining in an economic crisis, why not fund things that help alleviate the economic crisis? Surely doing so would correct media passivity as a result right?
