Try to do it on the sides of your fingers instead on the pads. There are less nerve endings on the sides. -t1d nurse

We still have to check our glucose even with the cgm it’s not 100% accurate. It lags 15 minutes behind the actual glucose.

Cgm aren’t always accurate. They will say I am in range but glucose monitor shows I am actually out of range.

Get a Genteel. Best thing I did and never feel anything from it. Check on my forearms on the back of my hand on the palm, it doesn’t matter.

I've only ever stuck my left handever since I was a kid... I didn't notice that I go and check for the scars when I need to tell left from right 🤦
