@mirandaxhow: Why did I have my family over when my daughter was sick?! 🤮 **I AM ONLY ANSWERING BC i keep getting this question 🙄 • I want to say that this was during last week of Thanksgiving timeframe. My daughter had only gotten sick once with no other symptoms and no fever and no signs of acting sick 48 hours before my family showed up for our Thanksgiving. I hosted at my house on the weekend. • 24 hours after my daughter got sick knowing that that is the CDC‘s recommended time period to wait if your child is sick or contagious. I then texted my family and informed them that my daughter had gotten ill the day before and if they didn’t wanna have Thanksgiving around her or at my home that we could reschedule or we would figure something else out. • to protect my families’s beliefs- The only thing I will say is that they believe a more holistic approach and they were not concerned of her being sick. • now we obviously know that my daughter has been sick with a stomach virus for over a week and since then the same said, family members have informed me that their whole household did not get sick after the fact. I would not willingly put anybody in a position or serve them food, knowing that we were spreading germs.
