Another Canadian dude here, I’ve seen guys try that at -40 and they dropped the crankshaft on the ground. It’s good advice if you’re in the business of replacing and swapping engines

2021 stock L5P here. 7200hrs 200,000 miles. That thing idles NONSTOP. Never had a single DPF or DEF issue.
