For the Loch Ness monster to be a plesiosaur a small group of them would have had to survive 66 million years in the lake. The group would need to be big enough so they can reproduce but small enough to be unnoticed. And they would have evolved within those 66 million years into something completely different due to there environment. So if Nessie was real it would be a descendent of plesiosaurd

i actually do believe in Plesiosaurus still alive but. the period of time that they were alive is in the 18s to the 19s because sightings over that time period was alot and now is just less sightings maybe none my theory is Loch ness died in somewhere in 1989-2002 we now don't have any sightings is because the Loch Ness probably already have been a Fossil or a corpse Sitting in the middle of the lake which lead to no sightings or thermal caught of the loch ness

it's possible cause crocodiles were also around in that period but they didn't die when the asteroid hit cause they were in the water this may have happend with many more animals
