Help Us Support More Youth Through the Jit Masters Workforce Program The Jit Masters Workforce Program provides youth ages 14–24 with paid opportunities to learn, create, and gain real-world experience in the arts during the summer. Participants receive hands-on training in Detroit Jit dance, film production, acting, music production, content creation, and other creative career pathways while developing leadership, teamwork, and job-readiness skills. This year, we have reached our funding capacity and are unable to hire additional participants. However, we continue to receive interest from young people who want to be part of the program. Rather than turning them away, we have welcomed some of these youth as volunteers so they can still receive training, mentorship, and valuable experience. We believe every young person deserves access to opportunities that help them grow, regardless of funding limitations. Your donation will help provide support for these additional participants through program resources, training materials, meals, transportation assistance, showcase opportunities, and stipends when possible. For many of our youth, Jit Masters is more than a summer program—it is a safe space to learn, create, build confidence, develop career skills, and connect with positive mentors and peers. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us serve more young people and expand opportunities for the next generation of artists, performers, creators, and leaders.
