Making Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies in my room! 🍪🧈👨‍🍳 — These were UNREAL! Maybe I should start baking more? 🤔 Let me know if you try these out!   Ingredients: * 1 3/4 cups salted butter * 1 cup dark brown sugar * 3/4 cup white granulated sugar * 2 eggs * 2 tbsp vanilla extract * 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour * 1 tsp baking soda * 1 tsp baking powder * 1/2 tsp salt * 1–2 dark chocolate bars (about 60% cocoa), chopped * 1 cup semi-sweet milk chocolate chips Instructions: 1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until it foams and develops brown specks with a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. 2. In a large bowl, whisk the cooled brown butter with the dark brown sugar and white sugar until smooth and glossy. 3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully combined. 4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. 5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. 6. Fold in the chopped dark chocolate and chocolate chips evenly. 7. If possible, chill the dough for 30 minutes. 8. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing cookies about 2–3 inches apart. 9. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set and centers are slightly soft.  10. Immediately top with a pinch or flaky salt 11.
