Your TDEE is more than BMR + intentional exercise (which is hard to calculate already) - you also need to factor in NEAT and TEF, I recommend looking into this

This is very helpful information. I’ve been averaging 1500-1600 cals a week and not loosing a pound. According to my trackers in the health app I should be doing about 1300. Maintenance is 1800.

1100 is totally doable, when u eliminate or just lower calorie dense foods like carbs & sugar. Especially drinks, just eliminate sweetened drinks & processed snacks

I totally support you. Long story short because of a health issue. I was forced into 1000 Cals at one point . it is the ONLY way weight started dropping. It was enough to boost my energy. Now I move .

Why would you aim for that much weight loss per week when you’re already thin? At least you should be eating 1300-1400 in a deficit which you clearly don’t need to be in? No one should eat below BMR

The toddler comparison has always been misguided on its face. There is no “maintenance” for toddlers. They are eating the calories that allow them to grow INCREDIBLY quickly every single day.
