I try applying for a Home loan with my bank I e been with for 35years and they said the same thing that you where saying..and I've had good income earnings still decline me 😔

I couldn’t get a loan because I was a self employed contractor earning a decent 6 figure income. Being a single dad was the reason.

I agree that it can be unfair. But it is the same loophole that has allowed an NZ bank to close all accounts of the Gloriavale community which is great
