I finally cracked the case of the plaster walls last weekend while hanging my gallery wall… hold the nail with a pair of pliers while hammering! 😘 beautiful! ✨

I have plaster walls! My dad taught me to put the nails in at an angle! It helped so much, like where the top of it is leaning up

I highly recommend using a lil bit of museum putty on the bottom two corners when you hang pictures on wire, just to keep it level if your pics slightly move when someone walks by or anything!!

i have plaster walls and got a pack of different sized drill bits so i can drill small “pilot” holes in the wall using a bit that’s thinner than whatever size nail i’m using to hang!

The reason why most frames say that is because the weight can be too much and with wire can cause breaking of the frame or the hook releasing over time.
