the petrichor smell is so nostalgic to me.. reminds me of our old house and place, I always love watching the rain from our window, sitting there with my grandparents.. & it's God's smell🥰🥰

my daughter at 3yrs old smelled the ozone of an approaching thunderstorm and got so excited. she said "do you smell him?" I asked who? she said "God! that's God!" makes me cry even now! ❤️

This is so true. On 8/24/24 I was invited to a church event. after awhile the aroma of rain surrounded me , something I can’t explain, but that night I was delivered from something that I didn’t know

I read this story in a readers digest in 1999 (my senior year of high school) I cried and cried. Maybe that’s why the smell of rain is a comforting smell (he is the comforter)
