Ok, now it is making sense..My wife is German and dating everyone was filing me with food and especially drinks. From what I am told it was 1 heck of a Christmas😂

thats a thing in some parts of the in the Bavarian Region, Allgäu etc. you go from house to house or visit friends and family and say nice things about the tree. Then you get a drink.
