I have a habit of using 3 dots in a sentence, after a word, to indicate a pause or change in emphasis. I have no idea where I picked it up. Have you come across this? Example… now I can’t think of one

On Windows, press the Alt key followed by 0151 for an em dash or 0150 for an en dash—but you need a numeric keypad.
