River, my 18 month old, has been going through a phase where he just refuses to eat anything, and every meal has been a fight! It has been so stressful and discouraging 😩 But if I don’t make sure he gets at least some food in his belly, he gets very hangry and does not want to do anything. This is one of those situations where Mama knows best, and I have to firmly, but still lovingly, set boundaries. So I take him to my bedroom where it’s quiet, we’re alone, and there are no distractions, and I help him eat one bite at a time. Giving him something to look forward to when we’re done helps encourage him to keep going ❤️ It’s not easy, but it’s worth it!
