Hm. I don’t want things so I can’t get myself to do anything. The only way I can is to induce panic with Vyvanse lol. Otherwise I’ll just procrastinate until I die bc nothing feels worth the work

Training yourself to want both outcomes makes so much practical sense & is something I’ve noticed my brain does when it’s overly stressed about a specific outcome. It makes it feel less ‘high stakes’!

Not wanting anything Vs wanting to avoid an outcome. Practice eliminating choices rather than trying to choose. Instead of deciding about what is left just flow into the gap.

I LOVE this and it can be applied in so many ways, my one hesitation is that being constantly emotionally detached from EVERYTHING also sucks..

How I’ve been able to stop my wanting is to bring up my magnesium levels. Helped me become more tranquil. Yeah I want, but can’t let go of the desire too.

I don’t have a push to do anything nor do I want to do anything and that makes me tired coz I have to fight myself to do anything, it actually more exhausting, I don’t agree with you, when I do want

You will notice the discomfort created by dopamine right after a thought about something pops up in your mind and this something is what gives you the dopamine hit.

i agree with not fixating on outcome. but i disagree with the "having" part. i feel fulfilled working towards what i dont have. it energizes me rather than exhausts me.
