The wall plugs are straight ac, that’s directly from shore power, not the converter. Ac isn’t wired into the converter. Then again, you also didn’t mention the wattage on those space heaters.

you have me confused, I guess this is a newer rv with a220 hook up? if not then how did losing the neutral of 110 cause it to have 220? so that really had nothing to do with it, just burned upthe plug

The wires in the wall ran to the outlet aren’t usually heavy enough to run a space heater

Question. I have like a 98 jayco eagle travel trailer. I’ve got power to my water heater outside. But no hot water. Any suggestions. I can’t use propane as it has a leak but it was working fine

you can use a space heater but only 1 and you have to be mindful only plug in over night and unplug in the morning

I have a tiny 1998 pop up camper (my RV flooded and was totaled in April this year) it has no battery and no appliances except a vent van - can I use a small ceramic heater?

we purchased an eco flow portable battery and solar panels. it's been helpful and you can use that for large appliances. QVC has them on easy pay right now which is helpful because the price is $$

my space heater is plugged into an extension cord that goes out my rear cargo door and plugs into the outlet by the pole....not using my converter or battery to power it

Is it the actual use of a space heater which draws 12.5 amps (1500 watts) or.... more of a concern with the outlet construction (non-residential) and/or loose connections?

Ok. What’s the difference between that and the fireplaces that are installed. I replaced mine and it was just “plugged in” behind the fireplace.

Master Roshi :
have space heaters hooked to 10/3 extention cords to the 20 amp box at the pole that is a GF. space heaters are fine if used correctly and not through the rv power system
