650 is 30% of her income, the apartment will be the standard amount for the area, section 8 covers the rest. so if the apartment is 3000 she pays 650 and they pay the rest.

I was on section 8 when my children were young and I went to college and now a teacher. I am so thankful for the help to create a better life for my children. It shouldn't be a life long assistant

I pay $475 rent and that includes water, sewage,garbage, electricity, cable , and internet. I live in my 40 year old $500 camper at an RV park, but I put $2k in savings every month soo…that’s a win.
