I think you may have just solved my 435 issue. Even after replacing the outside oil hose and cover plate the thing still leaks sooo much oil

My 455 rancher has never oiled right and it overheats the chain. I have changed the oil pump, gear, hoses and screen, it never seems to have enough oil and it starves the chain.
