How ppl don’t comprehend the fact that playing in the SEC week in and week out wears on a team, that’s how these upsets happen, go play Ole Miss, UGA, Bama, Tenn, LSU, Texas etc… in a few week span

The SEC went 8-3 against the ACC, 2-2 against the Big 12, 3-1 against the Big 10 this year. The only conference with a winning record against the Big four conferences.

All you gotta do is look at recruiting rankings. Who dominates them every year. Sec teams do. Sec teams have more talent on average and therefore it’s just harder.

I love how people say Alabama plays a weak schedule yet their SOS was 17th in the country. If the sec added a 9th conf game and played all power five non cons they would be 1-16 in SOS every year

The SEC is the toughest conference by far. I hate Bama, but this conference is hard. The best of the Big 10, wouldn't have a winning record in the SEC. Vols win it all.

SEC is too heavy. The bottom of the conference is average. Missouri. Texas AM and Texas have done way better then in the Big-12. Oklahoma had a brutal schedule of the top.

while yes this dude has some valid but look at this statistic, the sec this season is 35-1 outside of conference games, all of the sec losses are from teams inside the sec, which goes to show how 1/2

Big 10 plays 9 conference games and somehow Ohio state was the only top tier team that had to play multiple good big 10 teams

Bruh…the argument is staying consistent against LSU, GA, Tenn, Missouri and the rest of the SEC on a weekly basis. The big ten only has to get up for 2 games a year.

Being real there easily could’ve been 6 SEC teams in the field except the SEC beats up on eachother, put any of those SEC teams n any other conference, they would be 9/10 win teams- B10/12 are OR

We could be like other schools and play an entire schedule of weak opponents. Yes. Playing a weaker opponent after playing a tough game the week before is harder and you might lose occasionally. 💯

The SEC is the toughest conference period. Look at SMU they only played 2 top 25 teams and lost both. Every SEC game is tough and physical. Put OK or Vandy in another conference they are a top team.

See, the problem now is the SEC conference games determine the playoff. Outright. There’s no point to schedule tough out of conference games if you’re in the SEC.
