hey! you'll need a waiver, but SH shouldn't hold you back from joining the military. just be honest with your recruiter so they can help you get the necessary stuff for it the first time around

I had a waiver to cover me. they took pictures of the scars, I had to get three recommendation letters, and a counseling. took a good three months for me to get approved, and now I'm in over a year.

I use scar cream once a day and my scars are nearly gone, you can use it more than once daily and theres also scar stickers to get rid of them. I use mederma and its giving me really fast results

My wife is a recruiter for the Air Force, you will have to have a waiver and it will go to the SG but more often than not it will get approved. You do have to go “X” amount of time without being 1/2

They didnt look at mine. I had to get a waiver signed because I was on antidepressants a couple years prior but that’s it.

You can get a waiver. Im getting waived (hopefully) for the marines in the next couple weeks. You’ll have to meet with a registered psychiatrist, just make it abundantly clear that you’re okay.

I think that it’s if they look fresh and you’ve mentioned some stuff on the psychological part you might not be allowed but if they’re old scars I don’t think it’s a problem

Other than waivers if ur scars are lightish or similar to a burn , you can say it’s kitchen burn from a previous kitchen job … I didn’t need a waiver n they didn’t ask too much on it ..Good luck💯

try scar tape or mack up but use a lot of primer to even out the levels of scar to skin an full covered foundation. I'm sorry about this it's really messed up but I'm always here to talk .

that is true but for me I kept my business to my self when they asked me questions the answer was no and when they asked about a scar the answer,I played rough as kid they didn’t qeustion anything 😅
