We are actually unable to approach the object in question. Even the expanding light that is moving towards the object in question is moving away from it together with the visible universe expanding in space. The expanding light that is moving away from the object in question is moving away from it a little faster than we are. And space does not affect us in any way because it cannot affect anything in any way! It is nothing at all! Just a three-dimensional stage that IS nothing at all!
