A lot of managers and people higher up won’t acknowledge their staff at all or introduce themselves when they are new and a lot of them have their favourites and treat everyone else differently

A lot of directors will be in trouble. I've lost count of the number of times they ignore workers hellos, but find their voice when the see a manager or another director.

1 of my manager started ignoring me when found out I was of a certain ethnic minority &tgen went out of her way to get dirt on me to get me sacked it back fired &she only stayed on a technicality 😭

Yes. When you are a senior member or staff Ignoring a greeting can be very detrimental as it can result in anxiety, stress and depression on the individual.
