I received this product for free from Picky and Klairs in exchange for my honest review. This is the Dear, Klairs Maple Energy Infusing Serum. 🍁🍁 The texture is very similar to snail mucin, without actually containing any snail mucin, and according to their website, it is a vegan friendly product. This makes it a great alternative to snail mucin, as it has that similar stretchy texture and leaves that same dewy finish on the skin. The serum contains Maple tree sap, squalane, and a blend of 3 different peptides. It claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, reduce pore size, and repair damaged skin barrier. While the serum has a stringy texture, it doesn’t leave a sticky finish on the skin, and sinks in quickly. The serum leaves a very nice glowy finish on the skin, and works well for my combination-oily and acne prone skin. It is moisturizing and soothing, so I wake up with soft skin in the mornings after I use this product. I also like using it as a makeup base when I am going for a more dewy and glowy makeup look. I haven’t used this product long enough to comment at how effective it is in reducing pore size. This product is also fragrance free, and the serum itself has a fairly neutral scent. I don’t have anything bad to say about this product. It checks all the boxes for what I look for in a product. - it is fragrance free - I enjoy the packaging - I enjoy the texture (which is an experience in itself) - It works well with my skin The only potential con is that the serum is on the richer side since it also contains shea butter and mango butter, so it could potentially be too heavy for other oily and acne-prone skin types. Thanks to @Picky Shop: @Picky Shop: @klairs.us for sending me this product. #pickyreview #gopicky #pickyxklairs #klairs #skincare #kbeauty #snailmucin #veganskincare #dearklairs #maple #mapleenergyserum
