Idk if you already know this but you can select all the reference photos and put them in a hiddden album that separates them from your normal photos ! You can even set it to use face-ID!

We get no mercy as galaxy users. It's god awful if you also draw on your phone and go to draw something, since the whole gallery pops up when you open multiple programs
