@hockey_rise: It was the fruit of a 2021 feasibility study and partnerships with the NHL, National Hockey League Players Association NHLPA, the Nashville Predators, and College Hockey Inc. Back in early January 2022, was when I received an Instagram DM from someone claiming to be from the athletic department at TSU wanting me to write a press release & a social media post about the this development (at first, I though it was just a joke or someone trolling me)….. Fast foward to present day, and optimism is at a fever pitch as Tennessee State embarks on an unprecedented journey.
