My dog was dropped at the shelter in April. Owner became homeless. He swore he’d be back by Oct when he got on his feet. I took her to foster - He never returned and I’ve had her 5 years. My lucky day, she is my heart 💜

The cheek of her! We did renos a few years ago and chose to live in a LITERAL GARDEN SHED for three months so that we could have our cats with us. We shared a portaloo with the builders and showered at work. it was a lot, but worth it to have our cats happy.

And my poor rescues just went to the dentist today. Next week to get it all fixed up. I can’t imagine dumping dogs I have moved from Arizona. We spent two months in hotel three of us.

We’ve done lots of house renovations. We never ever considered moving the dogs. Why? Unless it’s a complete tear down that would be the only reason.
