I gave up a £15k pay rise to stay WFH. It’s worth double that to me as a single dad.

I feel like this isn’t legal to have 3000 people in an office only fit for 900. I could be wrong though.

Our CEO told us a story in about how he used to sometimes fake being sick so he could work from home and be more focused, only to tell us in same meeting that he wanted us back in the office

There’s a maximum occupancy for fire safety for a UK office. Anything above that will get your premises closed.

I got told that the reason I didn’t get a promotion is because I didn’t go to the office. So I’ve just accepted a better role, paying more, for a company that doesn’t even have an office for me to go to.

probably that was the entire reason on bring them back. They want them to quit, instead of laying them off. To avoid paying unemployment

Go to the office, get there just late enough that there aren’t any desks. Log laptop onto the corporate WiFi. Close laptop. sit in the canteen/coffee shop and refuse to work until a desk appears.

Fun fact in the uk there is legislation regarding WFH and there are only 5 reasons they can give if everyone were to request at one point…. They would need to get every answer right to avoid employmen
