Ugh my poor chickens hate me I feed mash in mornings but it freezes in minutes and they can’t eat it fast enough before it’s frozen😭 so I’ve stopped for now

We feed TCSR at my barn and I just drop the bag on concrete a few times like a bag of ice and it helps to break it into more manageable chunks at least, then I break up the rest with my hands 👍🏼

I've started putting my mallards feeds in metal trash cans with the lids and a hole not to big in the top so there's still air flow and it dosent freeze
