My washing machine has a WOOL setting. Cashmere turn out perfect and I air dry it flat.

If you have a washing machine with a delicate wash cycle/ fine wash / delicates it’s completely fine to wash cashmere/merino wool!! Just use a good detergent with it. It’s equivalent to a hand wash.

Wool soap is the best for cashmere, it doesn’t strip the wool of it’s natural lanoline.
