Us londoners love the tree and the story! The lights tho - different story. I’ve been to Oslo and Tromsø, they do Christmas decorations extremely well, the lights here don’t do justice to the tree and the tradition either

I remember as a kid in norway, our teacher told us the story, and whenever we saw a big tree loaded on a truck passing our school around october/november we would wonder in awe if that was the one🥺
