the way she’s lapping her tongue after the coughs does indicate it is indeed a hairball :) sort of like a gag. asthma in cats looks like reversed sneezing, happens in quick succession, and wheezy

If he’s coughing and no hairballs he needs to see a vet! Just went through this with my cat and he randomly got asthma!!
