@cook.dave10: This is the Xmas Peppermint Mocha Cookie Shake flavor of MuscleSport’s Lean Whey. As the name implies, this is a seasonal flavor that MuscleSport released on Black Friday of this year. Jumping right into the flavor profile, the powder starts off with the mocha taste which is a combination of chocolate and coffee. I personally love those two flavors when they come together so the base to this one certainly hits on the mocha taste. Right after the initial mocha flavor you get the peppermint flavor that adds to the taste profile. The peppermint isn’t overpowering but it’s apparent that it’s there. For any peppermint fans, there is no doubt about it that you are able to taste this from the powder. Peppermint is yet another flavor that I really enjoy when done well and when you add that to the mocha, it makes for a really great combination. You are also going to find double inclusions in this one with black and white cream filled cookie pieces (think Oreo) and edible holiday glitter. The glitter pieces are red & green and are small as they are littered throughout. The cookie pieces can vary in size as occasionally you’ll get a hefty sized cookie piece mixed in. This helps push that chocolate taste and is a fun element here. There are 26 servings in the container with each providing 130 calories, 2 grams of fat, 5 grams of carbohydrates and 25 grams of protein. The protein amount is the yield from 29 grams of their Lean Whey Protein Matrix and there is also a 1.15 gram Lean Whey Fat Metabolizing Matrix. Overall, a very fun and festive flavor with two very different flavor components that mesh extremely well together.
