I’m my experience people who knew (I was autistic) would wait for me to “slip-up” so they can go in on me without looking like a bully. This was common with girls.

The worst part of this is, now everyone cares about looking progressive so they convince themselves they didn’t actually bully anyone for being autistic. They just bullied ppl for (autistic symptoms)

My entire high school friend group. There was literally a name for it it was so bad. “The roast of Amelia” and it was everyday at lunch. They would make me cry on purpose bc my sensitivity was “funny”
