Hot take, try New York first - moved there post grad, and as someone who loves going out/staying out til 4am and the house music scene, Boston night life is super limiting. Bars close at 1 and happy hour is illegal - going out scene is objectively A LOT worse than NYC. Bostons charming but small, objectively less opportunities for stuff and after a year I was ITCHING to move to a bigger city

From Boston lol and I would probably pick New York especially while ur young. Much more fun and way better going out scene/more friendly people. Tough thing about Boston is that it’s small.

I grad. from Wisco in May and moved to Boston in Sept. Bf lives in NYC and I visit a lot. 1) move to Boston. 2) Boston is not cheaper than NYC

I’m from mass and i know a lot of people who grew up with Boston moved to nyc at least from my hometown and a lot of people ik who grew up with nyc moved to Boston

I just moved to Boston post grad and it was the best decision!! Compared to my friends in NYC it is soooo much cheaper to get a much bigger and nicer apartment. I feel so so so safe here!!

if you can live downtown in Boston, i say Boston! otherwise, the outer boroughs of NYC far outweigh Allston/Brighton etc

Nooo do NY! I lived in NY right after I graduated for a few years and it was the best, I’d never give it back! Now I’m in Boston and it’s blahhh and boring. Do NY while you’re young :)

As someone who has done both nyc is much fun but Boston makes me sooo much happier, way more managable, you can get a nicer apt! Have best of both and go visit your girls in nyc!!
