Can we talk about Tusk? Almost all women I know think it's a comedy/horror (emphasis on the comedy) and most men I know are absolutely horrified by it and don't find it to be a comedy at all.

I hated Midsommar. But I hated it because it’s an aggressively successful horror film and it freaked me the hell out. I do own it. I do still watch it occasionally. It’s amazing.

Ari Aster basically takes the worst possible but still realistic situations and tosses the supernatural in there. so if you took it out, his movies would still be BRUTAL dramas
