🌏 Mai Khao Beach 🇹🇭 🌴🤿🐠🐒🐬 🚤🏝 🌈 ✈Phuket ⛱⚓🐳🚤🛳🐠🐬🦞🦀 Mai Khao Beach is one of the first beaches coming from the main land, and it is at the very north of Phuket, and the beach itself is about 11km of mostly untouched land, it's a part of the Sirinath National Park, the most famous resort here would be JW Marriot Phuket Resort. The Phuket International Airport is also located near the beach. This beach is excellent for sunbathing. The beach is quite secluded, and you will have no problem to find your very own private location for a swim, even so there is a few attractions here you could visit, Turtle Village Shopping Mall, Wat Mai Khao, Splash Jungle Water Park, Sirinath National Park. You can also enjoy Thai Massage at one of the resorts, as well as a Spa treatment. If you have kids Splash Jungle Water Park is probably a must when visiting Phuket, it'll give you a day with water fun activities to remember. ✌Manee Sorn Sunflower Field🌻 Manee Sorn Sunflower Field, Khao Yai – Gorgeous Sunflowers, Lush Green Fields, And Beautiful Scenery Manee Sorn Sunflower Field is a large sunflower plantation in Khao Yai, Thailand. It is a popular tourist attraction and is also known as “Rai Manee Sorn”. There is an entrance fee of THB60 per visitor. I saw large beautiful fields that were covered with bright yellow sunflowers. After buying the tickets, we entered the gorgeous fields for a closer look. I was literally surrounded by sunflower stalks that came up to my chest level! The surrounding scenery was beautiful too. The sunflowers were surrounded by sprawling green fields and lush palm trees against a backdrop of mountains in the distance. We visited at around 4pm, which was a good time because there were still plenty of sunlight but it was not too hot. There is an annual sunflower festival held every December at Manee Sorn Sunflower Field. Visitors will get to enjoy various fun activities like sunflower competitions, beauty pageants, and local produce shopping. I’m not sure about the exact date of the festival, but if you are booking through Klook you can check with the driver over email. The sunflower season in Khao Yai starts in early November and ends in late January. I visited at the start of December and several large fields were covered with sunflowers. However, there were also many barren fields. My guess is that the sunflowers will be in full bloom during late December or early January. I enjoyed visiting Manee Sorn Sunflower Field very much! Wat Arun, วัดอรุณ, or more completely Wat Arunratchawararam Ratchaworahawihan, วัดอรุณราชวราราม ราชวรมหาวิหาร, is a first class royal temple that was built at the end of the Ayutthaya period. It was first called Wat Makok and then was changed to Wat Makok Nok because there was another new temple in the area called Wat Makok Nai (Wat Nualnoradit). At a later date, King Narasin the Great brought in troops via the river (Chao Phyra) and reached the temple at early dawn. This inspired him to renovate the temple and he renamed it to Wat Chaeng, meaning the Temple of the Dawn. When the new capital was founded at Thonburi in 1768, the King built a new palace around the temple. Wat Chaeng was the royal temple of Thonburi without monks in residence. At one time, the temple held the Emerald Buddha and Phra Bang which were brought from Vientiane during the reign of King Rama I. When the capital and the royal palace were moved to Bangkok, the palace wall was taken down. Thus Wat Chaeng was no longer the royal temple in the palace and monks were allowed to reside there. Renovation of the temple continued during the reign of King Rama II who changed the name to Wat Arun Ratchatharam.
