I'm a man but I grew up and my mom has endometriosis and polycystic ovaries and growing up I have vivid memories of her almost agonizing in bed for more than a week, and people would tell her it was nothing, that it was just normal. It's so sad to see how little people care about women in general

I’ve been told since I was 14 the doctors think I have endo. I’m now 24 STILL waiting for surgery to confirm it. I can’t even get any support until it’s diagnosed either.

i take the pill to stop my periods so i don’t have to have the awful pain that lands me in a&e,, every time i talk to my dr about it its “highly unlikely” to have endo because of my age.
