I saw an interview with John travolta and Olivia Newton where they said John insisted that Olivia played sandy as they had someone else in mind but John wanted her so this doesn’t make sense

I think the original story was Olivia met David in London and told him she was starring in Grease. She said he’d be great in it too, but didn’t suggest he play Danny as Travolta was already cast.😁
