For the old one you could have claimed warranty with owala and got a different bottle or replacement lid free. They were great when my lid snapped

I know you're a bit away from this.. but owala also makes the best kids cups & all the lids are interchangeable. So this lid fits on the kids cups. I like the flip top one for my toddler, too.
