Personally I would ask for some kind of proof. Or if you have cameras outside I’d check to see if an ambulance was called because with a head wound that bad they would have called one.

I feel like you are way too lenient. I would ask for proof of injuries. And even then consider whether a refund was necessary. If you are not at fault for the accident why would you refund?

I would ask for documentation before refunding. Say Airbnb needs it or something. But definitely not refund without proof. I’ve had so many people lie for a refund.

What are your protections against being sued in this case? I’d assume as long as there were no tripping hazards that this really isn’t your fault, so I don’t see why you’d be sued for anything
