i mean yes but if you leave them don’t give them 50% custody of the kid like my mom did lol, it was just two single parent homes where one was abusive and now didn’t have witnesses

I didn't realize the constant survival mode I was in until I didn't have to be in it anymore. Thank God I took the courage to leave. My kids are safe and happy now.

THIS!!! My father was horrifically abusive, which resulted in several TBIs for my mother. Those TBIs made her unstable and….abusive. I would’ve rather a shelter with her than “home” with him.
