Socialised healthcare also means the government has to take public health seriously as it hits their budget. They are more likely to regulate things to keep the public healthy. It also means you don't have to be as litigious, as you will be taken care of after an accident.

My beef with kaiser is when they don’t have providers with the medically necessary expertise or credentials and still won’t let you see someone outside kaiser.

I shattered my foot in June and had to have it stapled back together. Kaiser has been phenomenal. From ordering a mobility device, to physical therapy, to surgeon follow-up has been stellar.

Unfortunately a lot of the nonprofit healthcare organizations are also religious and that creates a conflict in adequate care with all of the “isms.” Racism, etc. I live in Washington state btw so

Kaiser is still evil, fake nonprofit. I worked in marketing and they hired a sadistic exec director to torment us into quitting and then fired the entire department to hire cheaper contractors.
