6 years.. I can hardly believe it's been that long since I started working with the incredible Limbani. When I first met you, I had no idea how much one special chimpanzee could change my life. You have been so much more than just an animal I’ve worked with, you’ve been a teacher, a friend, and a daily reminder of the beauty in patience and love. In your own unique way, you have shown me what it means to be truly present. I’ve watched you explore the world with the curiosity and wonder of a child, finding joy in the smallest things. Through every challenge and every triumph, you’ve taught me that patience isn’t just about waiting, but about understanding and respecting the pace of another living being. Every time you reach out for a hug or stare into my eyes with those wise, soulful eyes, I’m reminded of how much love animals, excuse, family …have to give—and how fortunate I am to experience it every day with you.
