Visiting Burney Falls has been on my bucket-list for so long!! It’s consistently considered “one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country” and I was stoked to see it! Not only that, but there are SO many incredible and underrated adventures to be had in this entire area of NorCal! (See more below). 📌 𝘚𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘢 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭-𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘴! 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨: 📍Burney Falls is located in Northern California (by the town of Burney, CA). 💲 It’s a $10 entrance fee to the state park per vehicle 🥾 You can hike a 1.1 mile loop trail (rated easy) to get to the base of the falls and all around it. OR, you can simply view it from the top if you’re unable to hike! 🌄 We went at sunrise and had it to ourselves for a bit! It’s definitely best to go early to beat the possible crowds. 🏔️ Not only is the waterfall a sight to behold, but there’s SO much more to explore in this region of California as well! For example: Lassen Volcanic National Park, Mt. Shasta, McCloud Falls and more are all in this area! 👉🏻 I’ll be sharing more of these places this week in my stories and on my feed! 🙌🏻 ‼️ Always remember to practice all the Leave No Trace Principles - help protect & preserve these places! ⭐️ NOW, do I personally feel it’s the most beautiful waterfall in the country?
